Fresas con Crema: the EASIEST Summer Dessert
The best part about fresas con crema is that it is SO easy to make. All you need are a few simple ingredients and about 5-10 minutes. Really, there are only two steps to this recipe! First, wash and slice some strawberries. Second, beat together some sour cream, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk (La Lechera), evaporated milk, and vanilla extract. That's it! I recommend refrigerating the cream for at least a few hours before serving so that it's cold--but you can skip that step if you'd like.
Another great thing about this dessert is that it's gluten free! It's also relatively healthy IF you decide to use less cream. A little goes a long way when it comes to the cream--I'll sometimes just add a few tablespoons on top of my bowl of strawberries and it's just as good.
