Cilantro Lime Jalapeno Dressing (GF & DF)

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe Leave a Review

If you're a salad lover, you know that the right dressing can take your greens from bland to delicious! However, not all dressings are created equal. Most store-bought options are packed with unhealthy ingredients (and honestly don't taste great). That's where this cilantro lime jalapeno dressing comes in. It's a healthy, homemade option that's gluten-free, dairy-free, and only 85 calories per serving! Need I say more?

Healthy Ingredients in the Cilantro Lime Jalapeno Dressing

This dressing is perfect for those who love tangy flavors but don't want too much spice. The jalapeño adds a subtle smoky flavor, but by removing the seeds there's little-to-no heat. The cilantro and lime give the dressing a fresh, vibrant taste that pairs well with a variety of greens. Garlic goes perfectly with these flavors as well. The olive oil mayonnaise is a healthier spin on typical mayonnaise. It also adds some creaminess to the dressing without the dairy!

The BEST part is that this dressing takes only 5 minutes to make, so you can have a healthy, flavorful meal in no time! Plus, by making your own dressing, you control the ingredients and avoid any unhealthy added ingredients. Store-bought dressings usually have TONS of preservatives. And though store-bought dressings last longer, the added preservatives don't taste great. I personally think the 5 minutes it takes to make homemade dressing is worth it for the fresh, delicious taste! Plus, homemade dressing almost always has less calories.

So, if you're looking for a delicious, dressing that adds TONS of flavor to your homemade salads, try making this cilantro lime jalapeno dressing. I recommend pairing it with my Loaded Chicken Bacon Avocado Salad (pictured below)--they're perfect together!
